Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an experienced Reliability Engineering Manager in Texarkana to drive the RE pillar, improve equipment availability, and lead maintenance excellence. You will promote a strong safety culture, mentor the reliability and maintenance teams, and partner with production to overcome key reliability challenges.

YOU will manage programs to reduce downtime, optimize maintenance execution, and align with plant production and quality commitments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or related engineering field.
3+ years of maintenance/engineering experience.
5+ years of management experience in manufacturing.
Experience in equipment design, project engineering or project management.
Experience using computerized maintenance management programs (e.g., SAP-PM).
Strong leadership, coaching, and servant-leader mentality.

Responsibilities

Lead reliability engineering efforts, implementing RE Pillar processes and best practices.
Promote safety culture and ensure adherence to EHS&S standards.
Coach and develop reliability and maintenance team members.
Analyze maintenance and reliability costs and optimize resource use.
Collaborate with production to address safety, quality, reliability and availability challenges.
Drive improvements in MTBF, MTTR, and preventive maintenance programs.
