Job summary

LanceSoft, Inc. is seeking a Reliability Engineer for a 12-month contract based in Stratford, CT. The role centers on conducting reliability studies, design of experiments, and related analyses to improve product robustness.

You will perform RM predictions, FMEA/FMECA, FTA, HALT/HASS testing and FRACAS, develop methods, and model high-risk areas. Proficiency with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Tableau or PowerBI is a plus.

Qualifications

• Develops, coordinates and conducts technical reliability studies and design of experiments.
• Performs R&M predictions, FMEA/FMECA, FTA, reliability testing (HALT/HASS/ESS/RDT) and FRACAS activities.
• Proposes design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for product reliability.
• Analyzes performance data and investigates variables affecting product/process reliability.
• Supports reliability database management and report/dashboard development in MySQL, PostgreSQL, Tableau, Cognos, PowerBI.
• Assesses industry-standard tools like Windchill Risk & Reliability, Reliasoft, Relyence.

Responsibilities

• Conducts reliability studies and DOE for engineering designs.
• Performs RM predictions, FMEA/FMECA, FTA and FRACAS activities.
• Develops reports and statistics to identify reliability risks and improvements.
• Recommends design/test methods to meet reliability objectives.
• Supports data management and dashboard/reporting tools.
