Job summary

West Liberty Foods in Tremonton, UT seeks a Reliability Engineer to drive asset performance and maintenance strategy. You will analyze failures, identify root causes, and implement data-driven solutions to increase uptime and reduce costs.

The role requires collaboration across design, maintenance and production teams, use of Lean Six Sigma concepts, and the ability to lead proactive maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing with maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with maintenance planning and supervision preferred.
• Proficient in data management and statistical analysis; knowledge of reliability tools like FMEA and RCA is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Loss Elimination: Identify and address production losses or high maintenance cost assets to reduce impact.
• Risk Management: Manage risks to environmental health and safety, asset capability, quality, and production using FMEA and RCA.
• Life Cycle Asset Management: Ensure reliability/maintainability of new/modified installations; participate in design reviews and commissioning plans.
• Proactive Maintenance Strategies: Develop/implement predictive and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Data Analysis & Problem Solving: Analyze performance data, identify trends, perform root cause analyses to develop solutions.
• Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead/support Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen or Value Stream mapping initiatives.
• Collaboration & Training: Work with design, maintenance, production teams; train staff on new procedures/systems.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.
