Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the Reliability Engineering Tooling team. You will build internal tooling for Developers, SREs, and Operations, owning the full lifecycle from development to deployment in GCP, including AI agents to improve change hygiene and reduce incidents.

Collaborate with engineers at all levels, create dashboards, logging, and proactive responses to issues. Expect a mix of delivery, learning, and planning activities within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 2+ years of software engineering or reliability experience.
• Experience with Golang, JavaScript/TypeScript, and scripting (BASH).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, IaC, and cloud platforms (GCP).
• Understanding of SRE concepts, incident management, and observability.
