Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline is seeking a Reliability Engineer II to lead enterprise analytics for our natural gas compression fleet. You will analyze data, design and optimize mechanical systems, and support testing and commissioning of controls and software.

This role requires strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to improve asset reliability and performance. The position emphasizes collaboration with project teams, cross-functional guidance, and developing

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant engineering discipline (i.e., mechanical, electrical).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead others and interact with customers effectively.
• Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of industrial engines, compressors, and related control systems.
• Experience with reliability analysis and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data to determine feasibility of design and application.
• Perform optimizations, troubleshooting, and feasibility studies.
• Support testing and commissioning of controls, software, and HMI graphics.
• Lead enterprise analytics for the compression fleet and report asset metrics.
• Develop preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
