Job summary

Amrize Holly Hill Cement Plant is seeking an experienced Reliability/CBM professional to create, implement and monitor Condition Based Maintenance programs at the Holly Hill site. The role emphasizes monitoring vibration, PMs and BOMs to maximize equipment availability.

Lead the reliability team, coach staff, and drive root cause analysis with a focus on safety and continuous improvement across the plant’s maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Experience with SAP, AutoCAD, Project and MS Office applications.
• Travel 0–10%.

Responsibilities

• Monitor reliability-based systems, preventive maintenance and vibration analysis.
• Create preventive maintenance routines (PMRs) and BOMs for plant equipment.
• Manage preventive/predictive maintenance programs (Inspection, Vibration, Oil Analysis, NDT, thermography).
• Oversee the PM work order system with coordinated execution by area operations and central maintenance.
• Provide leadership and coaching to reliability and plant teams.
• Lead root cause analysis, Pareto analysis and FMEA to eliminate repetitive problems.
• Drive continuous improvement for equipment availability and reliability.
• Support sustainability improvements in MTBF of major equipment.
• Uphold health, safety and environmental policies and safe work practices.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsible for creating, implementing, and monitoring Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) programs.

Position Location:

Amrize Holly Hill Cement Plant. 2175 Gardner Boulevard, Holly Hill, South Carolina 29059.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is available if the candidate is not local to the Holly Hill, SC area - position is located at the plant, it isnota remote role.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH:

• Responsible for monitoring reliability based systems including preventative maintenance systems, vibration analysis and condition monitoring.
• Participate in the creation of preventative maintenance routines (PMRs) and bill of materials (BOMs) for plant equipment.
• Management of the preventative/predictive maintenance programs (Inspection, Vibration, Oil Analysis, NDT, thermography, etc.) to ensure optimum equipment availability.
• Responsible for the preventative maintenance work order system with coordinated execution of the area operations and central maintenance teams.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and direction for reliability team and plant area teams in a manner consistent with our values.
• Accountable for providing leadership, development and coaching on individual performance to direct reports to achieve business results.
• Analysis and elimination of repetitive problems though root cause analysis, Pareto analysis, statistical review, FMEA and similar techniques.
• Responsible for the facilitation of continuous improvement processes around equipment availability and reliability.
• Support and guide sustainable improvements in MTBF of major equipment.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Education: Bachelor's degree. Field of Study Preferred: Mechanical Engineering.
• Required Work Experience:5-7 Years. Experience in heavy manufacturing environment is heavily preferred.
• Required Computer and Software Skills:SAP, Autocad, Project, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc.).
• Travel Requirements: 0-10%.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience in FFT analysis of vibration spectra on a range of heavy industrial plant.
• Experience in practical application of FMEA, NDT inspection techniques preferred.
• Working knowledge of instrumentation, process controls, motors, starts, VFD’s preferred.
• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of company approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
