Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Reliability Engineer to develop and apply reliability processes for launch vehicles, spacecraft, and supporting systems. You will collaborate with systems engineering to verify safety and reliability requirements through analyses and tests.

Responsibilities include FMEA/FMECA, fault tree analysis, reliability allocations, and risk reduction, with a focus on mission success and robust design documentation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum a B.S. in aerospace engineering or related field.
  • Experience performing reliability analyses including FMECA and FTA.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, fluid schematics, and electrical diagrams.
  • Strong safety and mission assurance fundamentals.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical partners.
  • Ability to collaborate across engineering fields and provide feedback on safety and reliability.

  • Develop reliability engineering processes and products for launch vehicles, spacecraft, and supporting systems

Requirements
