Basin Electric Power Cooperative seeks a Reliability Engineer to develop foundational reliability skills and support asset performance, maintenance optimization, and outage execution activities at the headquarters in Bismarck, ND.

You will assist in repair planning, spare parts optimization, and failure investigations while coordinating with operations and maintenance to implement proactive actions and improve reliability across power generation and process plant equipment.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program.

Mansioni

• Assist in developing repair plans, checklists, and maintenance procedures for critical equipment overhauls.
• Support reliability improvement by collecting and analyzing equipment data.
• Assist in failure investigations using RCA, FMEA, and condition monitoring techniques.
• Review equipment condition, maintenance history, and performance data to identify trends and recommend proactive actions.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance to support troubleshooting, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Provide engineering support during outages and inspections, documenting findings and repair recommendations.
