Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks a Reliability Engineer for a sawmill in Ashland. The role focuses on increasing asset uptime, reducing unplanned downtime, and implementing preventive/predictive maintenance with a strong emphasis on safety.

You will lead root-cause investigations, coach maintenance staff, and collaborate across E&I and operations to ensure equipment reliability and process stability. A relocation package is available and a competitive benefits program is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical aptitude and industrial maintenance or reliability experience.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot production equipment and prevent recurrence.
• Comfort with PM/PdM programs, basic data and math, and computer systems used to plan and record work.
• Safety-first habit and ability to improve workplace safety.
• Self-managed problem solver who trains others and works with operations and E&I.

Responsibilities

• Raise critical-asset availability by reducing unplanned downtime through failure analysis and corrective actions.
• Stand up and sustain preventive and predictive maintenance to make planned work the default.
• Lead root-cause investigations on chronic losses and implement fixes that are documented and verifiable.
• Coach operators and mechanics to raise on-the-floor mechanical knowledge and skills.
• Partner with E&I, operations, and process support to restore equipment and lock in operating conditions.
