Job summary

Lyntris is a defense technology company delivering sensing-to-action capabilities for U.S. DoD customers. The Reliability Engineer will strengthen reliability, availability, and maintainability for large defense systems, drawing on 2+ years of similar experience and knowledge of Supportability Analyses.

Responsibilities include reliability strategies, risk assessments, and data-driven decisions. You will monitor MTBF/MTTR, identify single points of failure, and work with maintenance teams on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or systems engineering.
• 2+ years in reliability, maintenance, or systems engineering environments.
• Experience with RCA, FMEA, fault-tree analysis or similar methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement reliability strategies across systems and equipment.
• Maintain Supportability Analyses models, risk assessments, and asset rankings.
• Use data analysis to predict failures and support decisions.
• Monitor MTBF/MTTR, downtime, and availability metrics.
• Collaborate with maintenance to optimize plans and lifecycle costs.
