Job summary

Montana Resources is seeking an engineer to lead Equipment Asset Management across the maintenance organization in Butte. The role emphasizes data-driven reliability, EAM analytics, and collaboration with planners and IT to optimize asset uptime.

The ideal candidate has an engineering degree and 3–5 years interpreting data and performance metrics, with familiarity in JD Edwards, EAM, and Caterpillar equipment. CI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configuration, implementation, and training of Equipment Asset Management (EAM) throughout maintenance departments of the company.
• Ongoing project management and monitoring of EAM analytics and software.
• Work in coordination with site Maintenance planners to develop and execute reliability measures.
• Partner with continuous improvement initiatives to provide relevant data.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis on equipment or system failures to prevent reoccurrence.
• Coordinating with Maintenance Planners, develop and refine predictive and preventive equipment maintenance schedules to optimize asset reliability.
• Analyze KPIs like MTBF and MTTR to improve equipment uptime.
• Utilize FMEA and reliability-centered maintenance to assess and mitigate hazards.
• Oversee asset lifecycle from design review to commissioning and obsolescence.
• Partner with maintenance teams, operators, and IT to integrate reliability standards.
• Provide engineering support to major capital projects.
