Job summary

Byrne seeks a Product Reliability Engineer to ensure long-term performance, safety, and reliability of Byrne products throughout their lifecycle. You will conduct laboratory testing, product validation, and lifecycle testing on both new and existing products.

The role involves analyzing test data, investigating failures, and implementing corrective actions in collaboration with Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and Compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 0-3 years of engineering, laboratory, or product testing experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory testing including safety, compliance, validation and lifecycle testing.
• Executes testing programs and determines re-test schedules.
• Analyzes test results and failure trends to identify reliability concerns.
• Conducts root cause investigations and proposes design solutions.
• Supports automation, data collection and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency.
