Make Industry Better | Business Development Manager | Condition Monitoring and Predictive Maintenance| Based in San Jose, California

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technical expert on Ronds' AI-based condition monitoring systems and wireless sensor technology.
  • Work closely with industrial customers (e.g., pulp & paper, food & beverage, cement, chemicals) to interpret vibration and other condition data, provide recommendations, and drive asset reliability improvements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCFA), fault diagnostics, and develop corrective/preventive action plans.
  • Support customer onboarding, configuration, and optimization of our predictive maintenance platform.
  • Collaborate with product and R&D teams to refine diagnostic algorithms and improve user experience.
  • Deliver technical training to customers and internal teams on reliability best practices and Ronds solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of reliability methodologies and internal knowledge base.
  • Support business development efforts with technical expertise as needed in pre-sales or demo activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in a reliability engineering, maintenance, or vibration analysis role.
  • Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies (vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound, etc.).
  • Understanding of condition-based maintenance, CMMS workflows, and asset criticality.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to draw actionable insights from sensor data.
  • Vibration Analysis certification (e.g., VCAT II or higher, ISO 18436) is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with customers in manufacturing, utilities, or process industries is a plus.
  • Self-driven, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
