Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a Reliability Development Test Engineer to support automotive development through data analysis, test planning, and cross-functional collaboration. The role involves planning and executing reliability tests and simulations, preparing technical documentation, and delivering analysis results to leadership.

The position requires independent work, strong communication skills with engineering management, and experience with CAD and scripting languages.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in data analysis and communicating complex information to engineering management.
• Experience with CAD surface modeling (CATIA or SolidWorks).
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Produce and analyze engineering data using pre-set tools, methods, and formats.
• Plan, prepare, and coordinate reliability tests and/or simulations including facility arrangement, support requests, and acquiring parts and materials.
• Physically support tests including confirming test setups are correct and test plans are understood and executed to intent.
• Prepare moderately complex documentation for review by technical leadership to record and submit all necessary development/testing/research information per the determined schedule.
• Help coordinate and execute root cause analysis, countermeasure activities, and improvement initiatives to technical leadership.
• Deliver sub-system or full vehicle computational and testing results at every stage of the automotive development project(s); develop countermeasure plans and work with cross-functional departments for implementation of plan.
