Job summary

Jobtailor in Gainesville, FL seeks an experienced Reliability Engineer to lead and improve maintenance reliability across plant equipment and processes. You will develop and refine preventive/predictive programs, supervise capital projects, and collaborate with operations to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing as a reliability engineer.

Responsibilities

• Guide reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, and control loops.

Job description

• Guide efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, control loops, and safety/security systems
• Define, develop, administer, and refine the preventive/predictive maintenance program
• Reduce and improve maintenance work to ensure efficient and productive operation of plant, process, and equipment
• Protect and prolong the economic life of plant assets at the least optimal cost practical
• Provide technical advice to maintenance and proprietors
• Relieve maintenance supervisors and planner/schedulers of engineering-related responsibilities
• Address day-to-day problems of the maintenance organization

Requirements

• 5+ years in manufacturing as a reliability engineer
