Job summary

FPC Franchise is seeking a Maintenance & Reliability Leader for our Greenville area manufacturing operations. You will drive safety leadership, manage daily maintenance activities, and develop reliability strategies to improve equipment availability.

The role covers PdM technologies, CMMS optimization, planning outages, and cost control while leading maintenance teams to deliver safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering degree (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
• 1+ Years' Manufacturing Experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate leadership experience.
• Experience with CMMS systems.
• Knowledge of reliability tools (RCA, FMEA, PdM technologies).
• Project management and cost control experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Environmental Leadership: Promote and enforce safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintenance & Reliability Execution: Manage daily maintenance activities and improve strategies for reliability.
• Predictive Maintenance (PdM): Oversee PdM technologies and prioritize findings into actionable work.
• CMMS & Maintenance Systems: Utilize CMMS to manage work orders and improve data quality.
• Planning & Outage Management: Plan and execute unit outages and prioritise backlog based on risk.
• MRO Strategy: Manage spare parts strategy and BOMs to ensure availability while controlling cost.
• Cost Management: Analyze maintenance cost and drive cost reduction initiatives.
• Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting and engineering support; participate in MOC processes.
• Leadership & People Development: Lead maintenance personnel and promote continuous improvement.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safety & Environmental Leadership
  • Promote and enforce all safety, environmental, and PSM/MI regulatory requirements
  • Lead or support safety initiatives including VPP participation, audits, and incident investigations
  • Identify and mitigate safety risks related to equipment reliability
  • Ensure compliance with environmental permits and Responsible Care initiatives
• Maintenance & Reliability Execution
  • Manage daily maintenance activities including breakdown, preventive, and predictive maintenance
  • Develop and improve maintenance strategies to enhance reliability
  • Reduce reactive maintenance through Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Drive resolution of top 'bad actor's equipment
  • Support maintenance teams to improve execution quality
• Predictive Maintenance (PdM)
  • Oversee PdM technologies including vibration, oil analysis, infrared, and ultrasonic monitoring
  • Ensure findings are prioritized and converted into actionable work
