Job summary

Senior Reliability Engineer sought to embed reliability into every stage of the product lifecycle in a major US manufacturing environment. You will work with Design, Manufacturing and Quality teams to reduce failures and improve performance across North America and global markets.

You will lead accelerated life testing, drive FMEA activities, analyze data and implement corrective actions that boost long-term product reliability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in Reliability Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of reliability engineering principles and accelerated life testing.
  • Experience with FMEA, root cause analysis and reliability validation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience interpreting engineering data and using statistical analysis tools.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • CRE certification.
  • CQE certification.
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor qualification; experience supporting ISO certification programmes.
  • Knowledge of electromechanical or fluid-handling products.
  • Experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Define reliability requirements for new product development programmes.
  • Develop and implement reliability strategies throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Design and execute accelerated life testing to shorten validation times.
  • Lead FMEA activities for both new and existing products.
  • Analyse reliability data and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Investigate product failures using structured root cause analysis techniques.
  • Identify corrective actions that improve product quality and long-term reliability.
  • Partner with Design, Manufacturing and Quality teams to eliminate recurring issues.
  • Support laboratory accreditation and ISO certification activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement across reliability processes and engineering practices.

They're now looking for an experienced Senior Reliability Engineer to play a pivotal role in developing products that customers rely on across North America and global markets.

The Role

Reporting to the Reliability Manager, you'll be responsible for embedding reliability into every stage of the product lifecycle. Working closely with Design, Manufacturing and Quality teams, you'll help reduce product failures, improve performance and support the development of innovative, high-quality products.

You'll also contribute to laboratory certification programmes, introduce best practice across reliability engineering and help shape future engineering standards across the business.

What We're Looking For

  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
