Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Senior Technician for the TQR team to collect, analyze, and verify data from reliability tools to ensure product quality and reliability. The role will oversee tool preventive maintenance and minor repairs within the TQR Lab.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or technical certification and 7+ years of experience in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing, with meticulous attention to detail and strong data skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or related technical certification.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in high volume semiconductor manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• The job function is located outside a clean room environment, but requires occasional clean room access to pick up or drop WFs.
• The TQR Technician will need to manually move 300mm FOSBs containing 25 wafers, run evaluations using proprietary software, and summarizing the data using Excel/PowerPoint.
• TQR Technician will need to operate/develop PM procedure and arrange PM/Repairs with Vendors.
• Strong attention to detail is required with accountability for errors.
