Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking an Reliability Centered Maintenance Analyst to perform RCMA for USCG electronic and HM&E systems, requiring active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one. The role involves developing MRLs, LOEPs, and MPCs, with a focus on process guides and CG-LIMS tools, and supporting CG-22 processes.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's in a technical field, 3+ years in related maintenance activities, and the ability to pass background checks including NACI/CAC

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • At least 3 years in maintenance planning, maintenance analysis, or RCM.
  • Military service, training, or operational experience preferred.
  • Six years of USCG or DoD maintenance development.
  • RCM Level-II Certification by USCG or NAVSEA or within 6 months of hire.
  • Familiar with SFLC Process Guides and MPC development processes.
  • Ability to pass NACI background and obtain CAC access.
  • Ability to obtain SECRET clearance.
  • Must pass Cherokee Federal pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform RCMA for USCG ELEX, HM&E systems per MIL-STD-3034.
  • Develop Maintenance Requirement List (MRL), LOEP and MIPs as directed.
  • Use LCIR to aid RCMA development.
  • Utilize CG-LIMS tools: STIP and SMDP workflow.
  • Support MPC development for ELEX and HM&E.
  • Support the CG-22 process through RCMA and MPC updates.
  • Attend meetings and conferences.

Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Analyst

Perform Reliability Centered Maintenance Analysis (RCMA) for United States Coast Guard (USCG) Electronic (ELEX) and Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems and equipment utilized throughout the Service.

An activeSECRET clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain an activeSECRET clearance to qualify.

A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for RCM: Pay commensurate with experience.

Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided.Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

RCM Responsibilities Include:
  • Complete Reliability-Centered Maintenance Analysis (RCMA) in accordance with MIL-STD-3034 (series) (Navy).
  • Develop Maintenance Requirement List (MRL), List of Effective Pages (LOEP) and Maintenance Index Pages (MIPs). Format will be as directed by USCG.
  • Utilize SFLC Asset Life-Cycle Information Repository (LCIR) to aid in development of RCMAs.
  • Have working knowledge of, and utilize, the following CG-LIMS applications to aid in RCMA development:
    • Surface Technical Information Portal (STIP).
    • Surface Maintenance Procedure Card Development (SMDP) workflow.
  • Be familiar with the MPC development process for ready to publish MPCs for ELEX and HM&E.
  • Support the CG-22 process through RCMA, MPC development, and MPC updates.
  • Attend meetings and conferences.
RCM Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Logistics Management, Maintenance Management, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline; and
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting maintenance planning, maintenance analysis, maintenance procedure development, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), logistics support, engineering support, or related maintenance management activities.
  • Relevant military service, training, or operational
  • Six (6) years of experience in USCG or DOD maintenance development.
  • Hold a current RCM Level-II Maintenance Analysis Certification by the USCG or NAVSEA or obtain Certification within six (6) months of hire date.
  • Be familiar with the following USCG SFLC Process Guides and Desk Guides:
    • SFLC Asset Life-Cycle Information Repository (LCIR) Process Guide CGTO PG-85-00-2270-G or current version.
    • Engineering Condition Based Maintenance Process Guide CGTO PG-85-00-400-S or current version.
    • Joint Maintenance Procedure Card (MPC) Development Process Guide CGTO PG-85-00-230-G or current version,
    • Joint Maintenance Procedure Card (MPC) Development Desk Guide Version 1.3 or current version.
  • Ability to pass a NACI background investigation and obtain a government issued Common Access Card (CAC) to access USCG IT systems and facilities.
  • Ability to obtain SECRET level clearance upon direction of the USCG.
  • Must pass pre-employment requirements of Cherokee Federal.
