Job summary

Harpe Associates & Cemcon in Batesville, AR seeks a Reliability & Project Engineer for a heavy industrial minerals operation. This hands-on role blends reliability engineering with capital project management to enhance equipment performance and plant uptime.

You will develop preventive maintenance, manage CMMS, track KPIs like MTBF/MTTR, and lead root-cause analyses. Collaboration across maintenance, production and mining teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance, reliability or project engineering experience in heavy industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mining Engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Experience with CMMS implementation or improvement.
• Experience with rotary kilns, pyroprocessing, cement, lime or mineral processing preferred.
• CAD/BIM experience is a plus (AutoCAD, Revit).

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve preventive and reliability-centered maintenance programs.
• Build and improve the CMMS, equipment hierarchy, PM programs and maintenance reporting.
• Track reliability KPIs including MTBF, MTTR and planned vs. unplanned maintenance.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment failures.
• Manage or support capital projects from scope and budgeting through installation and commissioning.
• Support major outages and equipment overhauls.
• Develop engineering drawings, equipment layouts and as-built documentation.
• Work closely with Maintenance, Production and Mining on equipment performance and project execution.
