Job summary

Bosch Home Comfort Group seeks a skilled Maintenance and Reliability Engineer to enhance long-term reliability and cost-effectiveness of production equipment in Norman, Oklahoma. You will lead MFMEA analyses, manage spare parts and obsolescence, and drive lifecycle strategies with data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities include analyzing maintenance data, evaluating buy vs refurbish options, and reporting on OEE, MTBF, and MTTR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• 2 years of experience in maintenance or reliability engineering in manufacturing.
• Strong MFMEA/FMEA methodology knowledge.
• Experience in spare parts management, obsolescence planning, and EOL programs.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, SAP, CMMS/ERP).
• Solid understanding of reliability concepts (OEE, MTBF, MTTR, Weibull).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead MFMEA analysis for new and existing equipment to identify failure modes and implement preventive measures.
• Perform spare parts and obsolescence analysis and optimize inventory.
• Maintain and improve end-of-life programs including forecasting retirement and replacements.
• Conduct cost-benefit evaluations for buy vs. refurbish decisions with TCO.
• Develop equipment performance reporting (OEE, MTBF, MTTR, availability).
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement on lifecycle strategies.
• Support root cause analysis and integrate findings into MFMEA and EOL planning.
• Work with suppliers on spare parts, refurbishment options, and replacements.
• Ensure compliance with Bosch standards, safety, and quality requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement using data analytics and risk-based approaches.
