Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions seeks a Reliability Engineer to develop and implement a Reliability Centered Maintenance process across Engineering and Manufacturing facilities. You will lead life cycle asset management, preventative and predictive maintenance programs, and root-cause analysis to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

The role requires 10 years in a related field, strong cost awareness, and extensive travel to multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 10 years' experience in a related position or field with a preferred background in Industrial Maintenance
• Extensive knowledge in facility infrastructure and support equipment
• Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong understanding of costs and financials, knowledge of the packaging industry, its products and major markets
• Extensive travel required

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation and maintenance of lifecycle asset management for components, equipment and processes at all facilities.
• Develop and implement preventative, predictive, autonomous and reliability centered maintenance plans.
• Lead root-cause investigations for repetitive damage and failure rates and coordinate equipment risk management changes.
• Analyze current equipment operations for productivity improvements with new equipment technology.
• Identify potential cost reduction projects and justify capital expenditures.
• Participate in cross-functional teams and communicate across divisions, plants and vendors.
• Coordinate purchase and installation of new equipment to support capacity changes or design.
• Support production with troubleshooting techniques as needed.
• Coach, lead and mentor technicians to build technical capability.
• Establish continuous improvement plans for efficiency, quality, safety or services.
