Job summary

Mobile Apps US is seeking an experienced Reliability & Maintainability Engineer to support design, certification, and lifecycle performance of commercial airplanes and aircraft systems. The ideal candidate has strong reliability engineering experience and familiarity with propulsion or airplane systems.

You will perform modeling, FTA, and safety analyses, and collaborate with suppliers, engineering teams, and airline customers to ensure operational availability and maintenance cost targets.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience in reliability engineering and airplane systems.
• Hands-on experience with FTA and reliability modeling.
• Knowledge of commercial airplane certification processes.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Perform reliability and maintainability modeling, simulation, and probabilistic analysis.
• Support design, certification, and lifecycle performance of aircraft systems.
• Conduct Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and failure modes/effects analysis.
• Define performance measures such as availability, reliability, and maintenance costs.
• Collaborate with suppliers, engineering teams, program leaders, and airline customers.

We are seeking an experienced Reliability & Maintainability Engineer to support the design, development, certification, and lifecycle performance of commercial airplanes and aircraft systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in reliability engineering, airplane/propulsion systems, safety analysis, and commercial aircraft certification.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform reliability and maintainability modeling, simulation, and statistical/probabilistic analysis.
• Support aircraft and system design reliability, safety, certification, and verification activities.
• Conduct Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and failure modes/effects analysis.
• Support reliability requirements validation, supplier requirements allocation, and reliability testing.
• Define and analyze technical performance measures, including operational availability, schedule reliability, and maintenance costs.
• Collaborate with aircraft system suppliers, engineering teams, program leaders, and airline customers.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong Reliability Engineering experience.
• Experience with Propulsion or Airplane Systems.
• Hands‑on experience with Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).
• Experience with Commercial Airplane Certification.
• Knowledge of reliability modeling, safety analysis, and failure analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field.

Preferred Background: Commercial aerospace, aircraft systems, propulsion, reliability & safety engineering, or aircraft certification.
