Job summary

BlueWater Federal Solutions seeks a Release Train Engineer to support the USAF at Maxwell AFB. The role coordinates Agile delivery for the BMx program, aligning multiple product teams and release activities to sustain mission readiness.

The ideal candidate holds a technical or business degree, 8+ years in Agile delivery, 5+ years in scaled Agile programs, and an active Secret clearance; SAFe RTE/Agilist or Scrum Master certs are preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline.
  • 8+ years of Agile delivery experience and 5+ years supporting scaled Agile enterprise programs.
  • Must have an active Secret clearance.
  • Experience coordinating multiple Agile product teams.
  • SAFe RTE, SAFe Agilist, and/or Scrum Master certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the operational synchronization lead for the BMx Agile Release Train.
  • Coordinate execution across product teams, shared services, release activities, dependency management, and Program Increment operations.
  • Ensure Agile execution stays aligned across FMxC2, IMDS/IMDS-MSM, FEM, PAMS, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, cloud migration, integration, testing and operational support.
  • Facilitate PI Planning, ART Sync, dependency resolution, Inspect-and-Adapt activities, metrics reviews, and release coordination.
  • Track backlog health, sprint predictability, migration sequencing, sustainment demands, and operational risks.
  • Assess cross-team impacts that could affect release stability, operational readiness, cloud migration sequencing, or mission support continuity.

Overview

Bluewater Federal is looking for a Release Train Engineer to support the USAF at Maxwell AFB.

The Base Maintenance (BMx) Family of Systems program provides critical lifecycle support for enterprise U.S. Air Force logistics and maintenance systems that enable global mission readiness and sustainment operations.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the operational synchronization lead for the BMx Agile Release Train.
