Job summary

SMX Services & Consulting, Inc. is seeking a QA Certification professional to ensure the quality and stability of software releases through manual testing activities across sanity, certification, and regression phases.

You will validate functionality and report defects to keep releases on track. You will collaborate with QA and Development teams, maintain test assets in JIRA/Xray, and contribute to test plans, profiles, and execution results for each release, supporting continuous improvement in

Qualifications

Experience in manual software testing across functional, regression, sanity, and certification testing.
Familiar with JIRA/Xray for test management and defect tracking.
Knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes.
Experience performing regression impact analysis and test planning.
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

Execute manual test cases for functional, regression, sanity, and certification testing.
Identify, document, and report defects and support resolution with the development team.
Maintain and update certification and regression test cases using JIRA/Xray.
Create, maintain, and execute manual test cases to support QA activities.
Validate testing environments and determine regression scope for each release.
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.
