Job summary

Ad Astra Information Systems, L.L.C. is seeking a Release Manager in Overland Park, KS to lead planning, coordination, and delivery of software releases across Product, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Client Success.

You will own the release operating model, drive go/no-go decisions, manage risk, and partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure on-time, high-quality launches that deliver measurable value to clients and the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of releasing software in SaaS/tech.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong organizational and PM skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience with Agile product development environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the release management operating model with cross-functional governance and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate planning, execution, and communication of software releases and feature launches.
• Assess release readiness, dependencies, and deployment timelines with Product and Engineering leads.
• Facilitate release planning, readiness reviews, and post‑release retrospectives for continuous improvement.
• Ensure planning cadence and decisions on sprint changes are documented and communicated.
• Facilitate Go/No-Go reviews with Product and executive stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and mitigate risks affecting timelines or client experience.
• Work with Engineering on decoupled deployment using feature flags and progressive rollout.
