Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Release Manager for Software Engineering to bridge development and operations. You will coordinate builds, releases, and hotfixes, ensuring stability and fast delivery on the Salesforce platform.

You will lead end-to-end schedules for major features, while maintaining multiple environments and high-quality code through CI/CD practices. In this role, you will drive automation and AI-assisted tooling to improve reliability, performance, and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of Release Management, DevOps, or Software Engineering in enterprise B2B SaaS.
• Hands-on experience with Hyperforce and Falcon deployment architectures.
• Deep Salesforce Platform knowledge and CI/CD tooling experience.
• Experience with Git and automated deployment workflows.
• Strong scripting and automation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Release Quality Control: push back on releases not meeting quality standards and communicate why.
• Release Execution & Hotfixes: own weekly hotfixes and deploy critical updates.
• Major Release Management: own end-to-end schedule and logistics for major feature releases.
• Infrastructure & Deployment: manage deployments within Hyperforce and Falcon environments.
• Environment Syncing: maintain sync across development, testing, staging, production.
• Version Control & Collaboration: manage code merges and resolve conflicts.
• Governance & Compliance: enforce deployment governance and CI/CD improvements.
• Communication: provide status updates and release notes.
