Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Release Operations Manager for Digital Platforms on a 12-month contract (remote). You will own planning, coordination, and delivery of production releases for multiple brands and web apps, ensuring reliable releases and formal governance.

Responsibilities include maintaining the release calendar, running UAT, verifying release notes item-by-item, and unblocking issues by obtaining timely decisions from stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years coordinating production releases for websites or apps in a multi-brand setup.
• Experience running UAT with sign-off and managing release notes.
• Proven ability to keep release workloads organized and unblock releases.
• Practical use of GitHub and Azure DevOps, and cloud deployment coordination.
• Clear writing for business and technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Job Title: Release Operations Manager, Digital Platforms

MUST HAVES

• 5+ years coordinating production releases of websites or web applications in a large or multi-brand organization.
• Direct experience running user acceptance testing through documented sign-off, and managing release notes with item-level verification.
• A record of keeping a heavy release workload organized through to closure, and of unblocking a release by securing a decision.
• Practical use of GitHub and Azure DevOps, and enough knowledge of cloud deployment to coordinate readiness, sequencing, and rollback with engineering.
• Clear writing for business and technical audiences. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience coordinating releases with GitHub / Git with Amazon ECS and Amazon EKS. Familiarity with Acquia Drupal, Vercel Next.js, and Algolia. Experience with a portfolio of branded sites and with formal go/no-go governance.
