Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 in Plano, TX to help drive SDLC processes across banking and financial services. You will document requirements, guide design decisions, and contribute to coding, testing, and production support for new software deployments.

You will coordinate across teams, leverage JIRA/JQL, and participate in agile practices to ensure on-time delivery and quality. This role requires travel/relocation per project needs and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; three years of progressive experience may substitute for education.
• Willing to relocate and/or travel to project locations as needed.
• Eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Responsibilities

• Document assigned parts of the requirements elicitation process in line with guidance.
• Lead design discussions and record decisions to guide development teams.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features while maintaining stability.
• Perform code reviews and maintain repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate fixes.
• Create user training, documentation, and support frameworks for new apps.
• Help resolve production issues and suggest preventive reliability measures.
• Maintain detailed records of code, tests, and support activities for knowledge sharing.
