Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 in Plano, TX, to drive requirements elicitation, design discussions, and coding efforts across the SDLC. You will help integrate features, conduct reviews, and implement testing strategies while developing training and documentation for users.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, handling end-to-end SDLC tasks and contributing to system reliability through proactive testing and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required. Three years of progressive experience may substitute for each year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting assigned parts of business requirements.
• Facilitate software design discussions and document design decisions to guide the technical team.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, focusing on stability.
• Conduct code reviews, make changes to the codebase, and maintain repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold quality.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks for smooth deployment.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive strategies to enhance reliability.
• Maintain records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base.
