Description:

The client is a leading provider of electrical engineering solutions, specializing in power system protection and relay settings. They are looking for a full-time Relay Settings Electrical Engineer to join their team in Baton Rouge, LA.

Requirements:

  1. Professional Engineer (PE) License is required.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in relay settings and power system protection.
  3. Experience with modelling software Aspen, Cape, & E-tap.
  4. Hands-on experience with Schweitzer relays (SEL).
  5. Experience with both microprocessor-based and electromechanical relays.
  6. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  7. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement relay settings for protection systems.
  2. Perform analysis, testing, and troubleshooting of protective relay systems.
  3. Work with Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) relays.
  4. Handle both microprocessor-based and electromechanical relays.
