Job summary

Principal Financial Group in the United States is seeking a Relationship Manager for its Customer Care team in the Northeast Region. You will develop deep relationships with advisors, plan sponsors, and third-party administrators to meet retention, growth, and retirement goals.

You will act as a strategic partner delivering creative solutions and collaborating on plan design, investments, and services. Expect travel 25–30% and licensing requirements consistent with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of equivalent experience.
• 4+ years retirement industry experience.
• Must become an associated person of Principal Securities, Inc.
• Qualified Plan knowledge strongly preferred (Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution).
• Excellent demonstrated leadership, negotiation, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills required, as well as superior interpersonal, analytical, and oral and written communication skills.
• Must be assertive and entrepreneurial.
• Travel required (25 - 30%), mostly day travel but there will be some overnight travel.
