Job summary

Trustmark Corporation seeks a Community Relationship Manager Associate to identify customer needs and match them with bank products to enhance satisfaction and loyalty. You will develop proactive sales and portfolio management skills to grow a portfolio of business and consumer clients while managing credit risk.

The role emphasizes advising customers, originating loan requests, building client relationships and cross-selling across product lines, with the ability to handle multiple priorities

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in sales, banking or business development.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Four-year college degree in business, finance, accounting or related field preferred.
• Experience managing a loan portfolio preferred.
• Banking experience or equivalent in related areas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise and counsel directly with customers to understand financial needs and appropriate products and services.
• Originate and submit credit requests promptly for decisioning via loan packages.
• Provide high level customer service to existing clients to build relationships and cross-sell.
• Perform business calls to gain outside loan production and support growth goals.
• Mitigate credit weaknesses through proper loan portfolio management and risk analysis.
• Work with Audit, Loan Review and OCC as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
