Job summary

Needham Bank is seeking a Personal Banker I to process teller transactions accurately and balance them per bank standards. You will expand customer relationships by opening and maintaining accounts, while advocating the bank’s services in the community.

You will support teammates, handle inquiries, and stay informed on products to advise customers effectively. A positive, service-driven attitude and reliability are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and/or sales is preferred.
• Able to open new accounts and maintain existing accounts.
• Basic math and keyboard proficiency.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Process teller and personal banking duties with accuracy and balance, following bank policies.
• Open new accounts and explain products/services to customers.
• Promote bank products and refer customers for additional services.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships.
• Maintain knowledge of bank products and stay updated on changes.
• Assist in training tellers and back up branch leadership if needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
