Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) seeks a Relationship Banking Representative to deliver a consistent, customer‑centric banking experience across teller and desk duties.

You will listen to customer needs, educate on products and digital tools, and support end-to-end banking interactions with accuracy and care. You will open accounts, process transactions, and coordinate with partners to resolve issues while promoting trust and long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Internal product knowledge, teller, and platform training preferred
• Attend a 5–7‑day initial training program; company covers travel expenses
• Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, professional customer experience in person
• Open/close accounts, initiate wire transfers, and handle routine inquiries
• Educate customers on features, benefits, and digital tools
• Coordinate with partners to resolve issues and ensure timely resolutions
• Guide customers on digital banking tools and self‑service options
• Manage customer flow and appointments to minimize wait times
• Refer complex needs to specialists and support branch goals
