Job summary

TD Bank in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont, seeks a customer-focused banking associate to deliver everyday banking and basic account service. You will greet clients, open/maintain accounts, and handle transactions while upholding TD’s risk standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with a friendly team, support clients with products and digital tools, and engage in ongoing training to advance in a values-driven, customer-centric role. Evening/weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years demonstrated experience working with clients.
• Teller or cash-handling experience in a client facing/financial institution preferred.
• Ability to work during operating hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear and consistent.
• Notary license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrates the overall client experience by effectively managing client flow (in-person and phone).
• Serves as the hospitality ambassador for the financial center, delivering consistent, relationship-driven client experiences.
• Creates personalized, client-first interactions that build trust from initial engagement.
• Educates clients on banking products, services, and digital capabilities to enhance convenience and financial well-being.
• Engages clients through proactive outreach and schedules appointments for consumer account needs.
• Balances client needs with policy adherence and risk awareness to ensure compliant outcomes.
