Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to build trusted relationships with customers by meeting them face to face and providing tailored financial counsel. You will educate clients on deposit and loan products, assess their needs, and handle account openings and loan closings.

Qualifications

• NMLS registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z, and ongoing compliance with all regulatory requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Four to five or more years of retail banking experience or equivalent training
• Passion and drive to deliver an improved client financial experience
• Effective client communication and active listening
• Ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms
• Knowledge of financial services products and solutions
• Cash handling experience

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers by meeting face to face and engaging them where needed
• Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs and educate clients on deposit and loan products
• Originate and close consumer loans, open accounts, and manage branch openings/closings
