Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a customer-focused professional in the United States to lead needs assessments with existing customers and prospects, identifying financial solutions and preferred banking channels. The role aims to simplify banking through digital options and proactive engagement.

You will collaborate with the branch and market teams to deliver strategic advice, cross-sell products, and ensure compliant lending processes while maintaining customer trust.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field is desirable.
• Canada only: Registration to sell investment products completed.
• Appropriate lending qualifications and designations.
• Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions.
• Experience in financial services is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers to complete needs assessments to identify financial solutions and preferred banking channels.
• Offers guidance on digital and self-serve options to simplify banking for customers.
• Proactively grows the customer base by generating appointments and building relationships within the community.
• Makes credit recommendations for personal lending transactions including home financing.
• Ensures compliance with risk, regulatory requirements, and lending policies.
