Job summary

BMO Financial Group in the United States is seeking a customer-focused professional in Retail Banking Sales & Service. The role delivers service, identifies customer needs, and guides them to appropriate financial solutions across banking channels, including lending and everyday banking.

You will work with branch teams and partners to grow loyalty, engage with customers through needs-based assessments, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while promoting digital self-serve options.

Qualifications

• Typically 2–3 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in related field desirable.
• Appropriate lending qualifications and designations.
• Experience in financial services is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Sales/service oriented with drive to deliver a personal customer experience.
• Ability to collaborate in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Delivers exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects.
• Identifies customer needs and provides advice and guidance regarding financial solutions.
• Engages customers to grow BMO’s business by generating appointments and building relationships.
• Acts as a lead in engaging with customers by assessing needs for banking and lending solutions.
• Ensures compliance with risk management and regulatory requirements.
