Position Overview: Responsible for delivering an industry-leading client service experience both in person and over the phone. Develops and expands client relationships by providing tailored financial solutions based on consultative conversations and referrals to other business partners for additional growth. Supports teller transactions as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Handle routine client requests, resolve problems, and perform advanced sales functions across deposit, credit, and other product lines.
  2. Meet or exceed client service and sales targets by promoting products and services, focusing on developing, expanding, and retaining relationships.
  3. Support the sales process through consultative conversations and referring complex needs to specialists.
  4. Participate in all components of Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
  5. Enhance sales techniques and product knowledge through ongoing training and learning opportunities.
  6. Advise on consumer lending options and process loan applications.
  7. Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, staying updated on policy changes.
  8. Ensure a consistent client service experience by engaging clients courteously, conducting transactions, and assisting them within the branch.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of client sales and service experience
  • Experience in sourcing and building client relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
  • Compliance with SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) within 30 days of employment
  • Ability to multi-task and travel as needed
  • Availability to work weekends and extended hours
Preferred:
  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in discussing, recommending, and selling banking products
  • Proven sales achievement
  • Understanding of bank operations and policies
