Job summary

Bank of Montreal is seeking a Relationship Banker in the United States (California, Tracy) to deliver exceptional service and identify customer needs. You will provide tailored financial guidance, support branch growth, and promote digital self-serve options while coordinating with partners to meet business objectives.

You will engage existing customers and prospects, conduct needs assessments, and contribute to lending and deposit growth.

Qualifications

• Typically 2–3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field desirable or equivalent experience.
• Canada only: Registration to sell investment products completed if applicable.
• Appropriate lending qualifications and designations.

Responsibilities

• Delivers exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects.
• Identifies customer needs and provides advice on financial solutions.
• Leads needs-based assessments to grow loyalty and opportunities.
• Proactively engages with customers and prospects by generating appointments and building relationships.
• Makes credit recommendations for personal lending transactions in line with policy.
