Job summary

Orange County's Federal Credit Union (OCFCU) seeks a Relationship Banker in Irvine to blend service, sales, and problem‑solving, helping members navigate their financial journeys. You will be the trusted partner handling teller transactions and guiding members through accounts and loans.

You will proactively recommend fitting products, maintain consultative relationships, and create lasting trust with members while working across multiple systems in a people‑first environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent experience in a bank or credit union.
• 2+ years cross-selling and referring financial products.
• Clear, friendly communication—professional yet approachable.
• Comfortable learning and using multiple banking systems and platforms.
• Monday–Saturday availability; 8 AM–6:30 PM weekdays and 8 AM–2:30 PM Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional experiences by handling teller transactions with accuracy and care.
• Open new accounts and guide members through consumer loan applications.
• Proactively recommend products and services that fit member needs.
• Resolve questions and concerns with a consultative, relationship-focused approach to create trust beyond the transaction.

As a Relationship/Personal Banker/Member Service Representative (MSR), you’re more than the face of the branch—you’re a trusted financial partner. You’ll blend service, sales, and problem‑solving to help members confidently navigate their financial journeys.

You’ll bring:

• Banking Experience:
  • 2+ years of recent experience in a bank or credit union
  • Hands‑on experience with teller transactions, new account openings, and consumer lending
• 2+ years cross‑selling and referring financial products
• Clear, friendly communication—professional yet approachable
• Tech Savvy:
  • Comfortable learning and using multiple systems and platforms
• Schedule Flexibility:
  • Monday–Saturday availability
  • Weekdays between 8 AM–6:30 PM and Saturdays 8 AM–2:30 PM

Member Service Rep IV – $23.00–$25.00 per hour

Senior Rep. I - II - $25.50 - $27.00 per hour
