Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ sales experience in a retail or financial environment.
• 1 year cash handling experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with team members.
• Experience in banking or contact center is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promptly and accurately perform member transactions and requests in person or by phone, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments and online/mobile banking setup.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Credit Union products, services, policies, and promotions.
• Cross-sell Credit Union products and services during member interactions.
• Maintain confidentiality of member and employee information and seek process improvements.
• Participate in branch outreach and community events; travel to other branches as needed.

About This Role:

USALLIANCE Financial is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our members and community. Relationship Banker II is responsible for the delivery of exceptional member experiences, implementing USALLIANCE’s sales and service standards by offering products and services to improve our members’ financial position. Represent USALLIANCE in the community and form lasting relationships with our members and partners. You will have teller like responsibilities and personal banker like responsibilities, acting as a universal banker.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promptly and accurately perform member transactions and requests, via in person and on the phone, including but not limited to balance inquiries, deposits, withdrawals, funds transfers, loan payments and setting up online and mobile banking, and submitting new membership and loan applications.


• Demonstrate a satisfactory knowledge of Credit Union products, services, policies, and procedures, including promotions and special offers, during member and employee interactions.


• Offer additional support to our Call Center when needed.


• Demonstrate working knowledge and understanding of the Credit Union’s sales and service standards, and cross-sell Credit Union products and services during every eligible member interaction.


• Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of Credit Union members’ and employee account and business information. Identify and communicate areas for continual improvement of business processes to support efficiency.


• Participate in branch outreach events and be an ambassador of USALLIANCE by participating in local community and SEG events.


• Travel to other branch locations as needed.


• Assist with vault / ATM custodian role.


• Saturdays are required

Essential Physical Duties:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary, standing position 50% of the time.


• Must be able to walk for 50% of the time in the branch.


• Ability to move items up to 25lbs to and from the vault & ATM machines.


• Ability to bend and kneel often to maintain the vault & ATM machines.


• High tolerance for computer screen time.


• Regularly operates computers and other core office machinery to complete daily tasks.


• Must be able to communicate in-person, over the phone, and via chat features.


• High tolerance for bright overhead lights.

Who You Are:

• Minimum of 2-3 years’ sales experience in a retail or financial environment.


• Minimum of 1 year cash handling experience.


• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.


• Work independently and cooperatively with other credit union team members and departments.


• Strong communication and active listening skills.
  
• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Previous banking &/or contact center experience preferred.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base hourly range for this position is $22.15 - $26.58 , exclusive of fringe benefits or potential incentives. This position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus. If you are hired at USALLIANCE Federal Credit Union, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part is any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package.
