Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in customer service role is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence and/or government regulations.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
• Ability to maintain simple written correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Build and share knowledge of all retail bank products, services and specialty product lines.
• Listen to customers’ needs to make appropriate recommendations and cross-sell products and solutions.
• Assist with opening and closing accounts, including research of customer accounts and CIP/BSA compliance.
• Advise customers on consumer loan products, take applications, and underwrite and fund loans.
• Collaborate with other teams to make referrals to meet branch goals.
• Maintain knowledge of teller line operations including cash handling and basic branch operations.
• Follow compliance, security, and record-keeping procedures and complete required training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
