Job summary

Regions Bank in Pell City, Alabama, is seeking a Relationship Banker I to deliver exceptional customer experiences on the cash line and over the phone. The role focuses on handling transactions, identifying customer needs, and guiding them to Regions’ digital banking solutions.

Candidates with teller or retail sales experience who want growth opportunities are encouraged to apply. The position requires good communication, ability to work Saturdays, and comfort with cash handling and computer use

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions.
• Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels.
• Ability to use a computer on a frequent basis, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide a consistent optimal customer experience on the cash line and on the phone.
• Resolve basic servicing requests and answer inquiries.
• Develop relationships by staying informed about the customer’s banking needs.
• Educate customers on standard consumer products and digital solutions.
• Assist branch and team members to resolve customer problems.
• Refer customers to internal experts for more complex financial goals.
• Adhere to bank processes and regulatory requirements and manage operational risks.
• Help achieve branch targets by identifying customer needs and guiding Regions’ solutions.
• May conduct outbound calls to educate customers on new technology and services.
