Job summary

Regions Bank in Powell, TN seeks a friendly Teller to deliver exceptional service both at the counter and on the phone. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, and payments, assist with card services and PIN resets, and educate customers on mobile and online banking.

You will develop customer relationships, meet branch targets, and follow regulatory procedures while processing digital banking inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions.
• Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels.
• Ability to use a computer on a frequent basis, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience on the cash line and on the phone.

• Fulfill servicing requests including cards, changes, PIN resets, and check reordering.
• Develop relationships with customers and stay informed about their banking relationship.
• Educate customers on consumer products and digital solutions (mobile, online, ATM).
• Assist branch and team members with basic tasks to resolve customer problems.
• Refer customers to internal experts for complex financial needs.
• Follow bank processes, laws, and regulations; manage operational risks.
• Achieve branch targets by identifying customer needs and recommending Regions solutions.
• Conduct outbound calls when needed; track hours over 40 per week.

• Answer customer inquiries regarding products and services
• Fulfill servicing requests, including new/replacement cards, information changes, PIN resets, check reordering, and basic problem resolution
• Develop relationships with customers and remain informed about their relationship with the bank
• Educate customers on consumer products and digital solutions, including mobile, online, and ATM offerings
• Assist branch and team members with basic tasks to resolve customer problems
• Refer customers to internal experts when complex financial needs are identified
• Follow bank processes, procedures, laws, and regulations
• Manage, identify, and report operational risks
• Achieve branch targets by identifying customer needs and recommending Regions' solutions
• Conduct outbound calls using customer and prospect lead lists when needed
• Track hours worked in excess of 40 per week
