Job summary

Associated Bank is seeking a Branch Banker to grow customer relationships by profiling needs and recommending deposit and lending products. You will serve customers, process transactions accurately, and support branch operations under supervision of Branch Management.

You will open and modify accounts, answer questions, cross-sell opportunities, and assist in coaching junior bankers while representing the bank at community events to uphold a positive market image.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required
• 2-4 years Customer facing sales and/or service experience. Required
• 2-5 years Working in a sales and goals based environment with strong customer service focus. Preferred

Responsibilities

• Recommend bank products to new and existing customers, following the company sales process while accurately following established bank procedures.
• Open deposit and loan accounts, verify and process changes to existing accounts, answer customer questions and resolve related account problems.
• Maintain proficiency in Teller operations to perform all teller transactions while exceeding customer expectations.
• Assist the Bank Manager and act as a mentor and trainer for other Bankers; participate in community and business functions.
• Opening or closing of retail bank, performing routine functions including ATM balancing and servicing.
