Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Relationship Banker 2: typically 4–5 years of retail banking experience or a combination of experience and training.
• Senior Relationship Banker: typically 5+ years of retail banking experience or a combination of experience and training.
• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Ability to engage and communicate with clients effectively.
• Thorough knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and support systems.
• Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services.
• Experience in sales campaigns/promotions and using digital/self-service technologies.
• NMLS registration required under SAFÉ Act; background and credit checks performed.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers through face-to-face engagement and provide banking counsel.
• Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs.
• Obtain and process customer and account information.
• Educate clients on deposit and loan products and services.
• Recommend financial solutions based on customers’ goals and needs.
• Originate and close consumer loans.
• Open accounts and manage branch transactions.
• Develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners.
• Open consumer and business accounts and submit credit applications.
• Educate clients on digital products and self-service options.
