Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a customer-focused Relationship Banker to build durable client relationships through face-to-face meetings and proactive outreach. You will assess banking needs, educate clients on deposits, loans, and digital tools, and guide customers toward appropriate financial solutions.

The role includes opening accounts, originating consumer loans, and collaborating with branch teams to ensure accurate, efficient service. Strong communication and NMLS compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Experience building client relationships and proactive outreach.

• Ability to educate clients on digital banking options.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers through face-to-face meetings and engagement where they need counsel.
• Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs.
• Obtain and process customer and account information.
• Educate clients on deposit and loan products and services.
• Recommend financial solutions based on customers’ goals and needs.
• Originate and close consumer loans.
• Open accounts and open and/or close the branch.
• Build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up.
• Identify solutions for new and existing clients.
• Maintain working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and digital services.
• Greet clients and process basic transactions.
• Develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners.
• Open consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
• Educate clients on emerging and self-service digital products.
• Leverage resources and technologies to optimize client experience and operational accuracy.
