Job summary

SouthState Bank in Dallas seeks a Universal Banker to serve as a full-service, single point of contact for customers’ financial needs. The role combines teller and FSR duties, delivering transactional excellence and personalized service.

You will attract, expand, and retain customer relationships, enroll customers in self-service options, and contribute to the bank’s growth while following regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Cash handling, sales, customer service. Previous banking experience preferred.
• Specific Knowledge: Good interpersonal skills, good computer skills, ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Responsibilities

• Process teller transactions for savings, checking, and loan accounts.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area and follow bank policies.
• Assist in training new tellers and support vault functions as needed.
• Open new deposit accounts and handle stop payments, wire transfers, and other maintenance tasks.
• Explain policies and procedures to customers and promote additional services.
